Remote Workshop

During the Pandemic, it was clear that students starting at the Kent School of Architecture in the academic year 20/21, would be limited to the use and application of facilities, as staff were encouraged to work from home. I thus created this online introduction to digital workflows to make students aware of possibilities outside of campus, which were cheap and effective, to help enhance their design processes. This introduction video, covers the abilities to 3D capture sites and artifacts through the use of technology available on mobile phones. Along with software workflow that was made free to use for students through the school. A lot of online teaching was made available by staff across the University and I wanted to provide an entertaining approach to sharing knowledge with students and thus created an animated character of myself, using Adobe software as well as added sound effects from the classic 'Looney Toons' cartoon, combined with voice and screen recordings to create the first episode of the Digital workflow Series.
