In this Living Proto-Architecture project, I explored natural organisms and attempted to associate their behaviour to the principles of DLA. By configuring the existing algorithm, I was able to mimic Coral Polyb's behaviours and consequently derive forms and spaces. Further alterations of parameters and variables led to the development of spatial qualities, which are abstractly visualised and represented.
Generated Results:
After manipulating the grown form through slicing, rotating and mirroring techniques. I found the space between the structural like patterns with a flat plane really provided a base for a proto-architectural space. To complete the effect and emphasis of my proposal, I used materials to differentiate between the two generated geometries.
